Shannon was born in Ohio and move to California when she attended Stanford.  Her degree in health education has been put to use as she works educating children throughout the state on nutrition.  Shannon has five brothers and two sisters whom you can meet as they join in the celebration in Hawaii!  

Julie comes from a huge hockey family, most of who still live in British Columbia.  It wasn't work or school that brought her to Southern California, it was surfing!  She loves the ocean and spends most of her mornings in a wet  suit before heading to the restaurant where she works as sous-chef.
